Professor Green given ban and fine after admitting drink-driving

Professor Green has been given an 12-month ban after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

The UK rapper appeared in Bromley Magistrates Court today (March 20) after Green - real name Stephen Manderson - was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in November last year.

In addition to the driving ban, the 30-year-old musician was ordered to pay a £400 fine, a £40 court surcharge and £85 in costs.

He was originally detained by police in south-east London on November 3 after calling them out to an alleged mugging. However, cops discovered that a car and van had been involved in a crash.

It was heard in court today that Green and wife Millie Mackintosh's house had been robbed, with the rapper then using his partner's car to give chase before crashing into a van.

An earlier charge of perverting the course of justice had been dropped.
