Kylie Minogue ticket demand surpasses previous tours

Demand for Kylie Minogue's upcoming UK tour is 70% stronger than that for her previous tours.

The singer recently announced that she will be touring the country as part of a wider European jaunt later in the year.

It will come in support of her new album 'Kiss Me Once' and ticket company Seatwave have revealed that the run is experiencing huge levels of demand compared to her previous three tours.

Seatwave spokeswoman Louise Mullock said: "Kylie Minogue has been entertaining audiences for years and she is refusing to slow down. Fans are clamouring for tickets to her UK tour, which kicks off in September, and it's not hard to see why - her performances on The Voice and her new album showcase why fans can't get her out of their heads."

The first date of Minogue's UK tour meanwhile is due to take place in Liverpool on September 24.
