Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton accuses Big Reunion boyband tour of gender inequality

Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton has criticised ITV's move to hold a boyband-only Big Reunion tour.

As previously reported, male acts from the two series of the reality TV show - such as 5ive and newbies 5th Story - will tour the UK's arenas later this year.

This means that the female groups on the 2014 series, such as Eternal, will miss out.

Atomic Kitten appeared on the show in 2013 and their singer Natasha Hamilton pulled up the programme's producers for apparent gender inequality.

She wrote on Twitter: "@BigReunionITV boys tour only? Feeling very bad for the ladies of this years show, don't even get a look in. Nice to c equality 4 all."

The first date of the boyband tour meanwhile will take place on October 17.
