Mick Jagger says goodbye to L'Wren Scott at funeral

The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger said goodbye and paid tribute to his late girlfriend L'Wren Scott at her funeral on Tuesday (March 25).

As previously reported, the 49-year-old fashion designer - who had been romantically linked to the singer since 2001 - was found dead on March 17, after tragically committing suicide.

A private funeral was held at the Hollywood Forever Funeral Home this week. Her body was transported from the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Manhattan on Sunday ahead of the service.

Brittany Penebre, the assistant who found L'Wren's body in her Manhattan apartment, arrived in L.A. from New York on Monday. Jade Jackson's daughter, Amba Jackson, also flew in.

A spokesperson said that Jagger and Scott's brother Randy Bambrough read "memories and words of tribute". A poem was also shared by Jagger's daughter Karis, while his daughter Jade and grandchildren Mazie and Zak also read psalms.

70 people are thought to have attended and the gospel song 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken' was performed by singer Bernard Fowler with Dave Stewart.

The Rolling Stones postponed a series of Australia and New Zealand shows as a result of Scott's death.
