One Direction's hairdresser: 'I get Twitter hate if fans don't like the lads' hairstyles'

Lou Teasdale, hairdresser to the One Direction heartthrobs, has revealed that while her job is amazing and she wouldn't change it for anything, she does experience the downsides and has fallen victim to some online abuse from the band's fans.

Speaking to The Daily Mirror newspaper, Teasdale explained that if Directioners don't like the hairstyles she gives the boys, they tend to target her: "I don't think the boys like to have the same hair... I get Twitter hate. If the fans don't like the boys' hair."

Last week, she told Britain's Daily Star that her career isn't as glamorous as people might think because it's a lot of travelling and living out of a suitcase: "It can be glamorous. We get to go to really cool places but I don't think any job is all glam. If you're successful you work all hours and in any conditions, which doesn't always end up being glam!"

Her book, entitled 'The Craft', is available now and she told the newspaper that it's a 'beauty bible for trendy girls': "I like to think of it as a beauty bible for girls who wanna try being a bit more experimental with their hair and make-up, which is becoming more and more trendy."
