Pharrell Williams to feature on Kelly Rowland's new album

Kelly Rowland has confirmed that Pharrell Williams will sprinkle his gold dust over her next album.

The US singer, who recently revealed that she has cut ties with former label Universal Republic, told Billboard that the 'Happy' man will feature on her next record.

She said: "Pharrell is on board. We already talked about it. I'd love for Timbaland to be on board. We've had discussions as well.

"I want to try to some new talent as well. There's so much new talent. There's somebody out there with something new to give, and I'd love to tap into that as well."

Rowland's last album came in the shape of 2013's 'Talk A Good Game'.

Speaking about the reasons behind leaving Universal and joining Motown, the Destiny's Child singer said:

"It's been wonderful so far, a fresh new spin on everything, with writers, producers, just being inspired, just creativity. I feel like right now, I just needed something new and I've earned the right to make my own choices and make my own decisions. I wish them well, they wish me well. No hard feelings, I just needed a fresh, new start."
