Elyar Fox has suggested that he would join One Direction if he got the chance.

The 18-year-old Brit is making waves in the industry through tracks like 'A Billion Girls', but he joked that he would be up for becoming the sixth member of One Direction.

When asked by Entertainmentwise which boyband he'd prefer to join, Fox said:

"It'd be Take That! No, I think it would just have to be 1D wouldn't it? It'd have to be 1D! They seem like really cool guys and I'm actually a fan of the band they've got great."

Speaking about the prospect of collaborating with the 'Kiss You' boyband, he added:

"That would definitely be great - I'm not quite finished with the whole writing process but there's a lot of people I would like to work with, 1D being one of them. I've got a list of ideal people I would love to work with."
