Ashton Irwin, drummer for Australian band 5 Seconds Of Summer, has taken to his official Twitter page to thank his group's fans for the amazing support following the release of their new single, 'She Looks So Perfect'. 

Writing on the social networking site about the fact that the track hit No.2 on the U.S. Billboard chart, Irwin explained that he was overwhelmed by the position and is really excited that fans love it so much:

"You guys made SLSP number 2 in the official billboard charts in the US, I love you guys so much, I can't possibly thank you enough, wow x."

He continued, adding that he can't believe how incredible the opportunities he's had lately are and admitted that he's very grateful for everything he has been able to do so far:

"This moment right now is one of the best times there will be in my life, I want to take a moment, to thank you, for giving us a chance. And I love you all, and one day I'll look back and say wow, we actually made it out of the garage, and it's all because of you."
