Blondie have announced more details about their forthcoming new album.

The veteran group will release 'Ghosts of Download' as part of a two-disc effort in celebration of their 40th anniversary.

The record, which features thirteen songs, will come in addition to a greatest hits album which features 'brand new studio recordings of the band’s biggest songs'.

The double-disc release, which is called 'Blondie 4(0) Ever', will be unleashed on May 13.

A number of guests feature on the Jeff Saltzman produced 'Ghost of Download', including Beth Ditto and Systema Solar.
