One Direction star Harry Styles hopes everyone attending their upcoming gigs - including parents - has a good time.

The band are due to play the first show of their Where We Are world stadium tour tonight (April 25) in Colombia.

Speaking to Capital FM, singer Styles said that he hopes everyone, including those who aren't fans of the band, come away from their concerts having had a good time.

He said: "It's important for us that we kind of make each tour bigger and better than the one before. We want everyone to come and enjoy the show.

"[Even] if they're a dad, if they're not necessarily a fan, we want them to still feel like they've seen a show and go away and say, 'Actually they're quite good'. It's important that we make sure the show and the music and everything stays every exciting."

One Direction will bring the tour to Europe in May, June and July before hitting North America.
