'Celebrity Skin' rocker Courtney Love has revealed that she struggles to cope with fans who are emotional and overexcited about meeting her because she doesn't know how to react or respond to them.

During an interview with British newspaper The Guardian, Love explained that she often finds herself overwhelmed by the adoration fans show her:

"[The women can be amorous] in the same way they would to a male rock star. I don't know what to do with that energy, so I take them up to my room, and maybe do drugs or let them try on my clothes, take lots of photos, selfies. That's what happened to all my babydoll dresses... I gave them away."

She went on to add that she performed a secret show recently in London at a coffee shop and was surprised when some of the people who turned up were so excited that they cried: "Does that make me sound cold? I just don't get off on my audience like that."
