5 Seconds Of Summer confirm video premiere date for 'Don't Stop'

Earlier this morning (May 12), the lads in 5 Seconds Of Summer confirmed that their highly anticipated super hero-themed music video for 'Don't Stop' will premiere next week on Monday, May 19.

Their lyric video for the track has already amassed over 2.2 million views on YouTube and they told followers on Twitter today that the full video is set to be unveiled in one week's time: "SMASH. #DONTSTOPMUSICVIDEO coming to a screen near you, May 19 @ 7am GMT / 4pm AEST. #5sosSMASH."

In addition to sharing details of the video's release date, the heartthrobs also shared a snapshot from it to show followers what to expect (pictured above left). It shows drummer Ashton Irwin dressed as alter-ego 'Smash'

The lyric video's director, Sophia Ray, recently told MTV News that the girl with red hair in the promo clip is symbolic of 5 Seconds Of Summer's entire fan base and they wanted to put across an anti-bullying message with the storyline: ""She was inspired by the fan base that the guys have. We wanted her to signify all of their fans — all the people that they’re serving through this anti-bullying campaign.”
