Canadian sensation Justin Bieber has found himself in hot water again after reportedly reaching into a woman's bag and trying to retrieve her mobile phone. 

The woman, who has not yet been named, is said to have taken photographs of the superstar on her phone at a mini golf course in Los Angeles, which irritated Bieber who then tried to take the phone out of her bag. She has since accused him of attempted robbery and the Los Angeles Police Department is now handling the case. 

A spokesperson for the LAPD issued a statement on the situation and confirmed that while no arrests were made, the 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrob is under investigation following the incident:

"As of right now, no arrest has been made and detectives are currently interviewing the victim."

Bieber, meanwhile, is currently working on new music and took to his official Twitter page last week to tease fans by telling them it won't be what they're expecting from him: "Been working on some incredible stuff and will share with you soon. No one sees this coming. Always push yourself to be great."
