'American Idol' finalist Caleb Johnson: 'I want to perform with Adam Lambert and Queen'

Singer Caleb Johnson (pictured left), who is a current finalist on 'American Idol', has opened up about his upcoming performance on the show, which will be with an established artist or act, and admitted that Adam Lambert would be his first choice.

Speaking to a reporter about who he wants to duet with on the talent contest's finale, Johnson admitted that 'Idol' alum Lambert would be a great person to sing live with: "I really wanted to perform with Queen and Adam Lambert, it was a tie between them and Soundgarden... but I'm hoping that it's either one."

During a recent interview about his favourite former 'American Idol' contestants, Johnson confessed that he has always been in awe of the 'Trespassing' superstar's impressive talent:

“I loved the stuff with Chris Daughtry. I remember watching that as a kid, and also Adam Lambert. I mean Adam Lambert just kind of just blew the roof off the show and just kind of and just really carved his own path, you know, from the show and what not and he was just an incredible singer, performer."

He added: "I mean that’s a rock star right there, both him and Chris Daughtry are two of the biggest stars to come off this show.”
