Hollywood starlet Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she recently embarrassed herself in front of 'On The Floor' hitmaker JLo after an attempt at trying to ask her to dance at an event fell flat. 

She explained how she and chat show host Jimmy Fallon got together at a charity party and hatched a plan to get Jennifer Lopez to dance with them, but explained that he disappeared at the crucial moment and left her hanging:

"We came up with this plan together. We're dancing, we see JLo, and we're like, 'We've got to ask JLo to dance!' And I was like, we'll do a spin and then we'll go, 'Dance with us' [to JLo]."

"Basically, I do it, and then I look and he's gone! It's just me looking at JLo, going, 'Dance with... me?' And she was just looking at me. You made me look like a freak in front of JLo!"
