Carlos Santana eyes Lady Gaga collaboration

Carlos Santana and Lady Gaga could collaborate in the future.

The guitar legend told People magazine that a duet with the 'Applause' hitmaker could be in the offing - and it's something he's interested in.

The 66-year-old said: "I was approached by Lady Gaga's father, and he was like, 'When are you going to do something with my daughter?'."

Other names the axeman would like to work with include opera star Andrea Bocelli, Sting and Prince.

He said: "I'd like to work with Prince. He's a genius. We've played together at different [events] but never in the studio."

Carlos Santana released his new album 'Corazon' in May and it features collaborations with the likes of Miguel and Pitbull.
