Ed Sheeran on working with Pharrell: 'He forced me out of my comfort zone'

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that working with producer and hitmaker Pharrell Williams was an eye-opening experience because he forced him to try things he wouldn't have done by himself.

During an interview with Reuters, Sheeran confessed that when he wrote 'Sing' with Pharrell it was challenging as the superstar pushed him and encouraged him to work outside of his comfort zone and it gave him amazing results:

"'Sing' was a song that I did with Pharrell Williams and it was a very random studio session where he was forcing me to try new things and really pushing me outside my comfort zone and we just ended up with that song."

He added: "I think he knew how special it was and I needed a lot of convincing and I'm glad he convinced me."
