Sinead O'Connor has confirmed plans to release a new album later this year.

The Irish singer will unleash ‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss’ on August 11 via Nettwerk.

The collection will feature twelve songs and it follows up the star's 2012 release ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’.

The artwork for the record sees O'Connor rock a striking look as she wears a black bob and dark clothing.

‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss’ will be the singer's tenth album, with her first coming in the shape of 1987's 'The Lion and the Cobra'.

O'Connor meanwhile has also announced a date at London's Roundhouse venue on August 12.
