Calvin Harris admits obsession over chart performance

Calvin Harris has revealed that he constantly checks to see where his songs are placed in the charts.

The Scottish DJ recently secured his sixth No.1 single in the UK with his track 'Summer'.

He also holds the record for the most amount of top ten singles that have charted from the same album, with his 2012 record '18 Months' producing ten.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, Harris admitted that he regularly checks iTunes after he releases a song to see how it is performing.

He said: "It feels absolutely fantastic, even the novelty of having a song playlisted on the radio...

"Also, don't think on the week of release I'm not refreshing iTunes every five minutes. Even Rita [Ora]'s single, which obviously I wrote and produced, I was refreshing iTunes all week."
