Ella Henderson's 'Ghost' set to top UK singles chart

Ella Henderson is on course to hit No.1 on the UK singles chart this weekend.

The X Factor 2012 finalist released her maiden track 'Ghost' recently and the Official Charts Company have confirmed today (June 11) that it is currently No.1.

Their midweek update reveals that the tune has sold over 78,000 copies this week, meaning that it will become one of the fastest selling singles of the year so far.

Last week's No.1 - Ed Sheeran's 'Sing' - meanwhile drops to No.2 whilst Tiesto's 'Wasted' enters at No.3.

At No.4 on the update is Sam Smith's previous chart-topper 'Stay With Me', whilst Little Mix's 'Salute' rises 19 places to No.5.

Rik Mayall's 2010 World Cup anthem 'Noble England' meanwhile is set to break into the top 40 following the comic's untimely death earlier this week.

Pressparty caught up with Ella Henderson today (June 11) to find out more about her single success - come back to the site tomorrow (June 12) to read what she has to say.
