Taylor Momsen says that "everyone is beautiful" after winning the Hottest Female prize at this year's Kerrang! Awards.

The ceremony was held last night (June 12) in London and the Pretty Reckless singer bagged the female gong.

Instead of gloating, however, Momsen took to Twitter to tell her fans that beauty is all around us.

The singer said: "Everyone is equally beautiful #reality."

Momsen meanwhile recently told Pressparty that she feels awards ceremonies shouldn't be used in music. She said:

"It's nice to be recognised for your work, but you're recognised for your work every night when you play a show and there's people there singing along. I think awards are for sports, not music. But I appreciate it."
