Britney Spears' manager defends her over miming accusations

Songstress Britney Spears has been powering through her Las Vegas residency, but there have been some accusations made in her direction that suggest she lip-syncs throughout the performance.

Spears' manager, Adam Leber, has now spoken out in defence of the 'Till The World Ends' superstar and explained that a show as high-energy as Britney's makes it very hard to be on-point vocally.

Speaking to Medium.com, Leber explained that she sings where she can, but her live set-up is so focused on dance routines and choreography that it's 'virtually impossible' to sing throughout the entire show:

"To put on the show that she puts on, it's virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does. She's singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There's no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time."

Her Vegas residency will resume in August, and tweeting about the summer hiatus recently she explained that she's looking forward to her return to the stage because it has been such a great experience: "Last two shows for awhile... what!!! Time flew by, been having so much fun with y'all Vegas."

Spears added: "This is it!!! Last show until August! Going out with a bang tonight. Hope you're ready... ;) #PieceOfMe."
