Peaches Geldof in final interview: 'People had preconceptions that I was going to die like my mother'

Peaches Geldof discussed how people expected her to die like her mother Paula Yates in one of her last interviews.

The 25-year-old media personality, who was the daughter of Bob Geldof, was found dead on April 7 at an address in Kent.

Police said that it was likely heroin played a part in her death, perhaps echoing her mother's own death in 2000 of an accidental overdose.

One of Geldof's last interviews - quite possibly her final - was given to the Spectator and it has now been made public.

The Brit spoke of how she felt many people have preconceived notions of her and had expected her to go the same way as Yates.

She said: "I'm young, but people all know the same information about me. That's the worst thing, the preconceptions...I'm going to die like my mother, she's going to end up like her mother. The worst thing is shaking someone's hand and realising full well they have a completely preconceived notion of who you are. They know your whole life! And you know nothing about them. It's an imbalance that's frightening."
