5 Seconds of Summer's new song 'Amnesia' has gone straight to No.1 on the UK iTunes chart.

The band have made the song available for those who pre-order their upcoming self-titled debut album, which is released on June 30.

At the time of writing, 'Amnesia' has shot to No.1 on the UK iTunes chart as a result of the downloads.

They are followed by Oliver Helden's 'Gecko', with Ed Sheeran's 'Sing' at No.3.

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile hit No.2 in the UK on Sunday (June 22) with their new single 'Don't Stop'.

That tune will also feature on the album alongside the likes of 'She Looks So Perfect' and 'Kiss Me Kiss Me'.
