The Vamps have treated fans to a picture of themselves meeting 5 Seconds of Summer.

The acts are two of the hottest groups around at the moment and they both played at the Capital FM Summertime Ball in London at the weekend.

They managed to meet for the first time at the Wembley Stadium event and The Vamps have shared a photo on Instagram from their encounter.

They added: "Quick chat about hairspray and bearded dragons..."

The Vamps added in a red carpet interview from the gig that they hope to have more time in the future to speak to 5 Seconds of Summer.

Other acts who played the Summertime Ball included the likes of Miley Cyrus, Cheryl Cole and Calvin Harris.
