Niall Horan asks fans to think twice about throwing objects on stage after hurting knee

One Direction star Niall Horan has requested that fans "limit" what they throw on stage in order to avoid injury.

The band were playing at the Amsterdam Arena on Wednesday night (June 26) when Horan aggravated his knee after being hit with an object.

The singer, who has had knee surgery in the recent past, was forced into posting on Twitter about fans throwing things on stage.

He said: "Amsterdam thank you for a great couple of shows! Appreciate you coming. Also guys! Can you limit what gets thrown on stage please! Coz somethin thrown at me tonight! Hit my knee! A lot of pain from it!

"Never wana sound like I'm complaining! But only having my operation 5 months ago, I still get a bit of pain and I'm very scared about it."

The tweets come only days after a video emerged of Harry Styles getting hit in the face with an object whilst on stage.
