5 Seconds of Summer have gone straight to No.1 on the UK iTunes albums chart.

The Australians released their self-titled debut album in the country today (June 30) and it seems to be selling well.

The record is currently sitting at No.1 on the iTunes chart, with Ed Sheeran's 'x' placed at No.2.

At No.3 on the list meanwhile is George Ezra's 'Wanted On Voyage'.

The 5 Seconds of Summer album features tracks like 'She Looks So Perfect', 'Don't Stop' and 'Amnesia'.

The band meanwhile recently took to Twitter to express their delight at hearing Ed Sheeran cover one of their songs.
