Ashley Roberts has confirmed plans to release a new album later this year.

The US star will unleash 'Butterfly Effect' on September 1 in the UK.

She also revealed to Digital Spy that her next single will be called 'Woman Up'.

The track will be released on August 25.

Roberts will perform the single on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway tour across the UK in August and September.

Both 'Butterfly Effect' and 'Woman Up' can be pre-ordered on iTunes.

The single follows on from Roberts' lead single 'Clockwork'.
