DJ Zedd has opened up about his duet with Ariana Grande, 'Break Free', and has tipped it to be a “really big song for the summer.”

Speaking to MTV News about the collaboration, Zedd explained that he admires Grande's talent so was excited to have such an opportunity and to produce the song: "I was lucky to get the chance to work with her.”

“It is a mix of her because she has a really special voice, and obviously you kinda of clearly hear me in the song, so I think it’s more unusual for her than it is for me ’cause I do this all the time. For her, I think it’s the first time she has made a song like that so she is really stoked about it.”

Back in May, Grande spoke about the Zedd-produced offering and confessed that she wanted it to be her next single because it's 'fantastic and fun':

"I did a song with Zedd, who I just met for the first time. I really want that to be the second single. My whole team is like, ‘Oh, it’s too early to pick a new single,’ but I’m really… I love that song so much. He’s fantastic and the song is really fun, and it’s very different for me."
