Ashley Roberts has pulled two upcoming UK tour dates.

The singer was due to play Key 103's Summer Live event in Manchester on July 17 and Hallam FM's Summer Live shindig in Sheffield a day later.

However, she confirmed on Twitter that she will no longer be performing at the gigs:

"Hi peeps, I'm devastated to say that due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm no longer going to be @ @key103 or @hallamfm SummerLive. So sorry…

"…I'm still going to be bringing the love to @EchoArena for @radiocity967 Summer Live in Liverpool though…sorry again x."

The news comes off the back of Roberts' new album announcement earlier this week.

The US star will unleash 'Butterfly Effect' on September 1 in the UK.

The record will be preceded by the single 'Woman Up' on August 25.
