McBusted on One Direction: 'All the media want to do is pull them apart because they're successful'

The McBusted lads have spoken out in support of One Direction and criticised interviewers for constantly asking them if they have plans to go solo.

Band member James Bourne revealed that the press is always looking for a way to stir up drama where there is none because people can't just be happy for their success:

"Why is that always the question to go solo, I've never understood that. All the media want to do is pull them apart because they're doing so well. I just think that they should stay together and be grateful that they are a stadium touring band."

Matt Willis went onto add that their recent writing session with Irish heartthrob Niall Horan went really well and they were all impressed by his passion and creative energy: "He's great fun to work with, he's got great ideas, and he's really passionate and full of energy, and then, I don’t know, I don’t know if any of them want to go solo."

Yesterday, the One Direction lads performed in Germany and tweeted that they still have such a great time together. Liam Payne wrote: "Great show tonight really enjoyed it :) love that after so many years together we can still have a laugh on stage love my boys man."
