Solange has discussed her fall-out with Jay Z for the first time.

The sister of Beyoncé was seen attacking the rapper in a lift in May at the Met Ball gala in a video that was leaked online.

It was unclear why the altercation took place, but a statement was later issued in an attempt to patch over any differences.

Speaking to Lucky magazine, Solange said that the family are "at peace" with the incident.

She said: "What's important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."

The incident meanwhile sparked rumours that Jay Z may have cheated on wife Beyoncé.

R&B singer Mya, who was linked to the rapper, recently denied that she had an affair with him.
