Australian hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer have teased a huge announcement that will be important and exciting for their home country fans as well as those in New Zealand. 

Writing on their official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (July 15), the heartthrobs explained that they will finally share the news later this week on Friday although it's likely they will release a series of tour dates: "AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND. Friday. http://www.5sos.com  #5sosLikeSocks."

The 'She Looks So Perfect' rockers recently announced a 2015 European jaunt, which has been dubbed the 'Rock Out With Your Socks Out' tour, and they have already added extra dates due to overwhelming demand. They will now play a second show at Birmingham's NIA on June 6 and a new date at Liverpool's Echo Arena on June 10.

The lads, meanwhile, will perform on America's 'Today' show on July 22 and told their followers that they're making 'wicked stuff' for everyone who attends:
