Earlier today it was revealed that Fifth Harmony have been nominated in the Artist To Watch category at this year's MTV VMAs and the beauties have admitted that it's overwhelming because they've worked so hard, and it's great to see that rewarded in such a huge way. 

The group's very own Ally Brooke Hernandez took to her official Twitter page this afternoon (July 17) and explained that she can't believe they're up for a prize at the ceremony:

"I am in tears at 7 in the morning. We are nominated for a VMA!!! Thank you @MTV, I can't describe my overwhelming happiness. What in the world??? Genuinely am in shock and disbelief. Y'all are the best fans in the entire world. I love you all more than I can say. VMAs are like the highlight of my life. How can I process this??? BRB crying."

Normani Kordei then expressed her excitement at the amazing news, adding: "Literally every other word we speak today will have VMA in it."
