Amelia Lily on 'Be A Fighter' cancellation: 'I was really upset and had no control over it'

Pop singer Amelia Lily has revealed that the cancellation of her album 'Be A Fighter' was a very stressful thing to experience, but she has come to see it as a good thing although it took some time for her to arrive at that realisation.

Speaking to EntertainmentWise about the album's axe, Lily confessed that it was upsetting as she had no control over the situation: "It was difficult. I didn’t really have any control over it, to be honest, it kind of just got taken down. I was really upset about it."

She went onto add that eventually she came around to thinking it was a 'blessing in disguise' as she has now revamped her style and feels very happy with her new single, 'California':

"A few days after it was taken down I actually thought it was a blessing in disguise. I wasn’t 100% happy with the album and I think if you’re not 100% happy with something that’s got your name on it then you should never let it be released to the public."

"So to be able to go away and write my own album this time… what a difference; it’s so much better for me. And I feel like my songwriting ability has really come on as well."
