Ed Sheeran is still on course to top the UK albums chart once again this weekend.

The singer-songwriter's second record 'x' has been No.1 for six weeks and it is showing no signs of slowing down.

The Official Charts Company confirmed on Wednesday (August 6) that it was still top of the list.

Today (August 8) it has been revealed that Sheeran's 'x' is still No.1 in the UK.

At No.2 is Dolly Parton's 'Blue Smoke', whilst Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' is No.3.

Nico & Vinz meanwhile are still set to hit No.1 on the singles chart with their track 'Am I Wrong?'.
