Nick Jonas on Demi Lovato duet: 'It was inspired by our deep and long relationship'

Singer Nick Jonas has opened up about his duet with Demi Lovato on a song they recorded together for his album called 'Avalanche'

He told America's OK! magazine that the collaboration was very personal because they both drew on their own relationship with each other for the lyrical content:

"Yes, Demi and I recorded a duet called 'Avalanche'. It's a beautiful song about a relationship that's breaking down."

"It's not necessarily romantic or a love song, but there is a deep and long relationship between Demi and me that we touch on in the song. After singing with each other for almost eight years, it [came together] really quickly."

Back in July, Jonas told E! News that their collaborative song is 'the real deal' and her vocals make it amazing: "We did one for my record. It's a great song that we both love. Her voice is just amazing on it. She's the real deal. It's the perfect fit for this record."
