A host of big names have been announced to perform at this year's BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards.

The ceremony is due to take place on October 19 at London's Wembley Arena and today (September 4) a number of acts were announced.

Ariana Grande, who recently released her second album 'My Everything', stars on the bill.

She is joined by 5 Seconds of Summer, The Vamps, Ella Henderson, Labrinth and Rixton on the line-up.

The event will be co-hosted by Radio 1 Breakfast Show man Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.

Last year's Teen Awards saw the likes of One Direction, Olly Murs and Union J win prizes.
