Nile Rodgers and Kanye West could be set to collaborate.

The legendary guitarist told the Daily Star that the US rapper has sent him a song to work with.

However, it is unclear whether anything will come from the potential blockbuster collaboration.

Rodgers said: "There are so many people I want to jam with - Kanye West sent me a track, I'm dying to work with Janelle Monae, then there's Pharrell and Prince."

The Chic man meanwhile recently backed Diana Ross to play at Glastonbury after rumours emerged suggesting the singer could take the next Sunday Legends slot.

He said: "Diana is one of my greatest friends and she is an incredible performer. I know she'd love to feel the vibe and the love from any festival audience."
