Kingsland Road postpone Bournemouth social due to 'rather exciting circumstances'

'Dirty Dancer' hitmakers Kingsland Road have announced that they've had to pull their scheduled social date in Bournemouth next month because an 'exciting' opportunity has presented itself, which they wanted to take.

Writing on their official Twitter page this afternoon (September 8), the boys explained that while it's a shame to have to postpone the date, they're excited about what might be happening instead so it's worth the disappointment:

"Announcement: Due to (rather exciting) circumstances that could be major for the boys, we have to post-pone the Bournemouth social... We promise to reschedule it very soon, but in the meantime a FULL refund will be issued to all ticket holders. Birmingham is unaffected. HQ."

Last month, the band chatted to Pressparty about their plans for the near future and explained that they're taking everything as it comes and just trying to enjoy the moment, because that's all they're guaranteed:

"We’re working on the album although we’re not quite finished yet. We’ll get back in the studio after, and hopefully we’ll release single 2 shortly after single 1. We’re not really going for the ultimate goal – we’re just taking it as it comes. Anything after this is an absolute bonus."
