Jamie Scott reveals all about songwriting with One Direction

Songwriter Jamie Scott (pictured left with Niall Horan), who penned One Direction's smash hit single 'Story Of My Life' last year, has opened up about what it's like to work with the lads in a new interview with Ryan Seacrest.

He explained that he usually writes with them while they're on the road, so they make use of whatever common space is available as there don't tend to be studios within easy reach:

“We actually record their albums on the road in the venues. We get in the dressing rooms, we set up studio and we record their vocals and made the albums. I’m lucky enough to then go onstage after I’m recording, so it’s pretty cool.”

The band, meanwhile, spoke out about rumours that suggest they may eventually go solo recently and Louis Tomlinson told reporters that it's very unlikely because they like having the support of each other in such a crazy career path

"Just having each of us, let’s be honest I personally don’t think I’d be able to do it as a solo artist. It’s very intense and hard to comprehend, so it’s good to be able to speak to people who obviously know exactly what you personally are going through."
