Ed Sheeran shoots new video: 'I've been training five hours per day for it'

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that his forthcoming new music video for 'Thinking Out Loud' will be his best and most challenging to date.

Speaking exclusively to MTV News at the iHeartRadio Music Festival recently, the superstar teased that it's likely to be the best video he has ever done: "It’s the best video I’ve ever done and probably ever will do. It’s incredible, and I don’t say that lightly. It’s legit.”

“We shot it on 16mm film, which we couldn’t do a whole lot of, it’s all one shot at the moment. I think we might do cutaways and stuff, and I learned to do something very different. I want the video to come out and everybody to be like, ‘What the hell is he doing?’ Just something that is going to shock you.”

He was cautious not to give too much information away, but did confess that he has been in training “five hours a day for the video" during his current tour and added: "It is physical, it’s about learning how to pick up stuff and throw it. It’s interesting.”
