Niall Horan: 'There are some days where I wish I could just have a bit of my own time'

One Direction star Niall Horan has admitted that there are days when he wishes he was away from the hustle and bustle of celebrity fame.

However, he denied that this might force him - or any of his four bandmates - out of the group.

The boyband have achieved huge fame since appearing on the X Factor in 2010 and they regularly tour the world.

Speaking in a new interview with The Metro, Horan said that there is no chance of the band's members leaving - despite their hectic schedule showing no signs of abating.

Denying any chance of the group splitting, the Irishman said: "We’re obviously very young in our careers.

"There are some days where I wish I could just sit on my own and have a bit of my own time – but you just chill out for a day without being bothered."

Speaking meanwhile about whether he has indulged in the financial benefits of fame, Horan said:

"I’m not a very extravagant person. I’m not very flashy at all. I paid off my mother’s mortgage and got myself a house and a car and that’s about it."
