Jordin Sparks 'starting to feel' that split from Jason Derulo is the best outcome

Earlier today (October 1), songstress Jordin Sparks appeared on America's 'The Wendy Williams Show' and opened up about her split from boyfriend of three years, singer Jason Derulo

The nature of their split has been kept very quiet, but Sparks hinted that it might not be as amicable as the press has reported. When asked what the most annoying rumour she has heard about their break-up so far is, Sparks sighed and admitted that just being talked about in the media in such a way is exhausting:

"I guess... I mean I don't really have anything to say on what's been said. There's a lot, but I don't want to really feed into what's been said. I'm good, really. I know you think that I'm not good, but really... I'm good."

Williams then responded to that and suggested the split is the best thing that could have happened, to which Sparks replied: "I'm starting to feel that! I'm excited (to date around)."

When Sparks was quizzed on the reports that suggested infidelity was what caused their relationship to fall apart, she paused and then said calmly: "I actually don't want to comment on that."

The star then went onto add that her parents are being incredibly supportive during this tough time: "The great thing - and the one thing - I really am blessed with is the support of my family. They're right there if I need them. My dad brought me BBQ food yesterday. They're great."
