5SOS answer fan questions: 'Everything is a good achievement for us'

Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer recently travelled to North Carolina and replied to a few fans who had sent in questions for them to a radio station.

Speaking to Kiss 95.1 Studio, the lads were asked if they were ready for a series of fan questions that were sent in via Twitter and they got stuck straight in with revealing how they learned to play their respective instruments.

Bass guitarist Calum Hood confessed that he was never taught how to play and just picked it up by himself from the pure passion of wanting to: "Uhhh... I think I learned mine on my own."

Luke Hemmings, who sings and plays guitar, added: "I took lessons for a bit, yeah." Drummer Ashton Irwin chimed in and joked: "Lessons in shredding!"

Another fan question saw a follower wanting to know what the boys consider to be their 'greatest achievement' so far and Irwin explained that everything they get to do is amazing because they never had any expectations: "I don't know, everything is a good achievement for us. To be in North Carolina is a great achievement for us, you know? To be this far from home."
