Meghan Trainor No.1 on midweek UK singles chart

Meghan Trainor is on course to spend a second week at No.1 in the UK.

The US star hit the top spot last week with her track 'All About That Bass' and the Official Charts Company have confirmed that she is No.1 on the midweek update.

Today's (October 8) listing confirms that Trainor is leading the chart by just under 6,000 copies.

Nicki Minaj is hot on her heels with her track 'Anaconda' whilst Jessie J's 'Bang Bang' - which features Minaj - follows at No.3.

Jeremih is a new entry at No.4 with 'Don't Tell Em' and Ella Henderson rounds off the top five with her second single 'Glow'.

LuvBug's debut track 'Resonance' meanwhile is currently No.7 on the chart whilst Usher's 'She Came To Give It To You' - again featuring Minaj - is No.11.
