Songstress Ally Brooke Hernandez, of Fifth Harmony fame, has revealed that when she meets fans she really wants to learn things about them and their personal lives because she has a genuine interest in that. 

Speaking to her followers on social networking site Twitter, the 'Bo$$' beauty encouraged them to show an interest in others because there's always something to surprise you:

"Forget small talk. I absolutely love learning, knowing, and diving into people's stories and WHO THEY ARE. It's one of the best things for me."

"That's why as often as I can with as many individuals I can, I try my best to get to REALLY know them within the time I am given."

She went onto add that it's something that really helps her to feel connected to others: "It is so special to me and part of who I am. I encourage y'all to do the same :) it's astonishing what you can learn from one's story. It can be SO touching or even inspiring."
