This year's MOBO Awards are currently taking place at London's Wembley Arena and several of the winners have already been crowned, including vocal powerhouse Sam Smith and Jessie J.

Tweeting about his success at the ceremony, Smith wrote: "Thank you all so so much for your support, today has been absolutely incredible. I have THE BEST fans!! xx"

Jessie J, meanwhile, took home the Best Female title despite being up against other impressive talent such as Rita Ora and Katy B

The ceremony is still going on in England's capital and Best Newcomer, Best International Act, Best Album are still to be announced. Smith is up for Best Album for his debut effort, 'In The Lonely Hour', and he encouraged fans to help him win by tweeting a message to them earlier: "In The Lonely Hour is nominated for Best British Album at tonight's @MOBOAwards! If you'd like to vote for me just tweet using #MOBOSamSmith."
