Whitney Houston's sister-in-law: 'I turned down an offer for a Whitney hologram'

Pat Houston, the sister-in-law of the late Whitney Houston, has revealed that there won't be a hologram of the superstar any time soon as she recently turned down an offer for such a project.

During a recent interview, Pat explained that it has only been two and a half years since the 'I Will Always Love You' singer's death and it feels too soon to be resurrecting her in hologram form for the sake of entertainment:

"We did Madame Tussauds, the wax museum, with Whitney's figures and that was a little scary to stand there and take photographs next to these figurines of Whitney. It's kind of spooky."

"I don't know how I would feel about [a hologram] and certainly I've been approached to do a project of that magnitude, and I said, 'No.' But who knows what the future holds. I mean, it's just been only two and half years. Maybe down the road."

Hologram performances have been popular in the past few years and there was one of Michael Jackson that performed at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this spring and another of rapper Tupac at Coachella in 2012
