Ellie Goulding teases 'potential' Drake collaboration

'Burn' songstress Ellie Goulding has revealed that she recently recorded something that might end up on Canadian hip-hop star Drake's forthcoming new album.

During a new interview with Capital FM, the beauty admitted that there's a chance that the collaboration might be included on his next effort, which is called 'Views From The 6': "Obviously he's sampled me on one of his songs before, and I've done some stuff for him for his new album potentially."

Drake sampled Goulding's 'Don't Say A Word' on a track of his named 'Pound Cake', which featured on his 2013 studio album, 'Nothing Was The Same'. Goulding, meanwhile, will record vocal parts for the Band Aid 30 single 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' tomorrow in London and speaking about being involved in the project, she explained:

"Sir Bob Geldof called me! And he was very lovely and he asked me over the phone. I was like, 'Have you got the right person?'. That was literally how it happened."

"I've performed in front of some of them before at various things but I think this is the kind of situation where I don't think anyone's going to be worried about that. I think that the cause is so important that I think everyone's going to throw any ego out the window. I think everyone's going to be really cool. The people that I've met before that are going to be down there are super cool. I think it's going to be really lovely."
